Update: We decided, because the Halifax aircraft flown by Alex Turnbull on April 23rd 1945 and the subsequent loss due to enemy ground fire, to add these pictures. This aircraft 2P-X-Xray was from 644 squadron and was ditched in a Lake Mjosa in Norway. A Bomber Command Group in Canada financed the recovery and transporting of the remains to Trenton Ontario for restoration by a large group of volunteers. After several years on November 5th, 2005 the unveiling took place. A few pictures of Barr and crew are also included. This aircraft is now at the R.C.A.F. museum in Trenton Canada. It can be visited during museum hours.
